Daily coaching, 2 video reviews and accommodation — our all-rounder week for beginner to intermediate surfers.
The 7-Day Surf Camp is built for surfers who already know the basics — you can paddle out, catch a whitewater wave and pop up reasonably consistently — and want a full week of coaching to turn that into real wave-riding: reading a set, positioning on a peak, and starting to turn rather than just going straight.
Each morning your coach checks the forecast and tide and picks the day's spot from across the Bukit Peninsula — a mellower beach break on smaller or onshore days, or a session closer to the Uluwatu reef when conditions and your level line up. Two sessions during the week are filmed and reviewed with you afterwards, which is usually where the fastest technical gains happen.
Evenings are unstructured — most guests end up by the pool back at the accommodation, comparing footage from that day's video session or planning the next morning's wake-up call around the tide.
Exact days and conditions vary — this is the usual rhythm.
“Seven days was exactly enough to go from wobbly pop-ups to actually linking turns. The video review twice a week made a bigger difference than I expected — you see your own mistakes immediately.”
“Loved the mix of beach and reef days depending on conditions. Felt genuinely coached, not just supervised. Came back the next year for the Performance camp.”
For most guests coming in with some board experience, yes — a full week gives 7+ coached sessions plus two filmed video reviews, which is usually enough to move from wobbly pop-ups to linking a bottom turn, or from whitewater to catching unbroken green waves.
Reasonable swimming ability and general fitness is all that is required — paddling is the main physical demand. Our coaches adjust session length and wave selection to your fitness on the day.
We recommend starting the package on its first day since the week is structured to build progressively, but if your flights only allow a mid-week arrival, message us — we can usually still fit you in at a pro-rated rate.
Your coach checks the forecast and tide each morning and picks the safest, best-quality spot on the Bukit Peninsula for that day's group level — if Uluwatu itself is too big or crowded, we simply surf one of the nearby beach breaks instead.
No — board and rash guard rental is included in the package for the whole week. If you have your own board and prefer to bring it, that is also fine.
Tell us your dates and room preference — we'll confirm availability.
